TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State will host Cal State San Bernardino and No. 2 Cal Poly Pomona this weekend in a pair of CCAA matches at Warrior Stadium. The Warriors will face Cal State San Bernardino this Friday, October 25 at 4:30 p.m. on Alumni Night. Stan State's Senior Day is set for this Sunday, October 27 when the Warriors face No. 2 Cal Poly Pomona at 11:30 a.m. Prior to the start of the match at approximately 11:20 a.m., Stan State will recognize its seniors in

Shauna Johnston,
Kaley Miller,
Kaia Mills,
Amber Pon, and
Ycela Ochoa.
ANOTHER 3-0 SHUTOUT: In their only match of the weekend, Stan State recorded its second consecutive 3-0 shutout on Thursday evening. This time the Warriors defeated Cal Poly Humboldt 3-0.
Shauna Johnston scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 58
th minute on the first of two assists by
Sabrina Cabrera. Nine minutes later, Cabrera assisted on
Aliah Avila's goal. Cabrera scored the Warriors' third goal with fourteen minutes left in the match on an assist from
Makeila Yancey.
Tylin Norman recorded four saves in goal for the Warriors for her second consecutive shutout of the season. Stan State's match at Sonoma State was postponed on Sunday.
STAN STATE IN REVIEW: The Warriors enter this weekend with a 5-5-2 overall record and a 2-3 CCAA record. They are averaging 1.50 goals a game while giving up 1.42 goals a game.

Malia Allen has been in goal in four matches while recording ten saves and posting a .667 saves percentage and a 1.69 goals against average.

COYOTES IN REVIEW: Cal State San Bernardino enters its Thursday's match with the Warriors with a 4-3-5 overall record and a 3-1-2 CCAA record. The Coyotes are 3-1-1 in last five matches including going 1-0-1 this weekend. They played to a 1-1 draw at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday and defeated Cal State Los Angeles at home 1-0 on Sunday. CSUSB is averaging 0.83 goals a game while giving up 0.92 goals a game. Bella Cervantes leads the Coyotes with her five goals, ten points, and four game-winning goals. Emma Frausto is right behind with her two goals and four points. Four different Coyotes have recorded an assist in Angelyn Pena, Reagan Parkhill, Alissa Torres, and Ayme Delgado. Leila Peregrina has posted a 0.92 goals against average with a .823 saves percentage to go with her six shutouts.

The Broncos went 1-0-1 in their two matches this weekend defeating Cal State Los Angeles 2-1 on the road and playing to a scoreless draw with Cal State Dominguez Hills at home. They are averaging 2.46 goals a game while giving up 0.69 goals a game. Vanessa Cruz leads the way with her nine goals (two assists), four game-winning goals, and twenty points. Tara Oper has recorded a team leading four assists to go with her four goals of which two are game-winning goals for twelve points.
