TURLOCK, CALIF. ---  Stan State's Najwa Chouati was named the CCAA Championships Athlete of the Meet while Annie Wild was the Female Freshman of the Meet after the conclusion of the championships this afternoon at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium.  They were two of the ten Warriors to earn All-CCAA honors by placing in the three in their respective events during the three-day championships.

Chouati was the CCAA Champion in the women's 10,000-meter run while she was runner-up I the 1500 and 5,000-meter run.  With her three top two performances, the CCAA Female Athlete of the Meet was the High Point Award recipient.

Wild was the Female Freshman of the Meet.  She was the 800-meter and 1500-meter CCAA Champion while she was part of the women's 4x400 relay team that placed tenth this afternoon.

As a team, the Warriors placed sixth in the men's championships and fourth in the women's championships.
