INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--- The No. 10-ranked Stanislaus State women's cross country team has earned an at-large selection to the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championships, as announced Monday by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee.

The Warriors are one of 34 teams advancing to the national meet, joining West Region counterparts Chico State, Cal Poly Pomona, Biola, and Western Washington in representing the West. This marks the second straight year and fourth time in the past five seasons that Stanislaus State has qualified for the NCAA Championships, continuing a remarkable run of consistency under head coach Darren Holman. The Warriors enter the national meet ranked No. 10 in the nation and No. 2 in the West Region by the USTFCCCA.

The NCAA Championships will take place Saturday, November 22, at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The women's 6K championship race begins at 11 a.m. Eastern (8 a.m. Pacific), followed by the men's race at 12:15 p.m. Eastern. Fans can watch the action live on NCAA.com.

The Warriors carried strong postseason momentum from the CCAA Championships in Chico on Oct. 26, where they finished second overall behind No. 9 Chico State. Annie Wild led the way with a third-place finish (21:01.8) to earn All-CCAA honors, while four more Warriors joined her on the All-Conference list — Izzy Soto (7th, 22:05.7), Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva (8th, 22:06.3), Nina Furtado (10th, 22:10.9), and Bela Moreno (12th, 22:12.3) — giving Stan State an impressive five All-CCAA runners in the top 12.

That performance carried into the NCAA West Regional Championships on Saturday morning at Ash Creek Preserve in Monmouth, Oregon. The No. 10-ranked Warriors placed fifth with 182 points in a deep, nationally stacked 28-team field that featured four other nationally ranked programs. Stan State finished behind No. 9 Chico State, Cal Poly Pomona, No. 20 Western Washington, and No. 13 Biola.

Wild, the team's top runner and a former FloCollege/CCAA Runner of the Week earlier this season, led the Warriors once again with a seventh-place finish in 20:44.2 to earn USTFCCCA All-West Region honors, awarded to the top 25 individual finishers. Sanchez-Silva placed 30th (21:21.0), followed by Moreno (33rd, 21:22.5), Stevie Holguin (53rd, 21:44.7), and Furtado (61st, 21:49.6) to complete the team's scoring five. Crystal Hernandez (68th, 21:53.4) and freshman Soto (94th, 22:22.8) rounded out the lineup.

Led by Wild's All-Region performance and the Warriors' balance from top to bottom, Stanislaus State once again proved its ability to compete with the nation's best programs, securing another trip to the national stage through depth, resilience, and consistency.
