LOS ANGELES, Calif.----  Stan State's Annie Wild continued her stellar 2025 breaking current Warrior assistant track and field coach Courtney Heiner's eleven-year record in the 1500-meter run. Wild ran a time of 4:19.67 to break Heiner's record of 4:20.65 from 2014.  The sophomore runner has the third fastest time in the nation in NCAA Division II and the fastest time in the CCAA. 

NCAA DII QUALIFYING TIMES:  Annie Wild recorded her second NCAA Division II qualifying time of the weekend this evening at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.  She ran a 4:19.67 in the 1500-meter run, which is the third fastest time in the NCAA Division II and fastest time in the CCAA.  She finished in 38^th place in the field today in the 1500.  Thursday, Wild improved her time of in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.96 which is the 15^th fastest time in the nation, fourth fastest in school history, and second fastest in the CCAA.

RECORD BOOKS:  Two Warriors moved up in the record books in their respective events.  Annie Wild broke current Warrior assistant coach Courtney Heiner's eleven-year record in the 1500-meter run.  Wild ran a 4:19.67 break Heiner's record time of 4:20.64 from 2014.  Crystal Hernandez moved into eighth place with a time of 4:32.01 this evening.  Jaevin Sawyer moved into sixth place in the 200-meter dash with his time of 21.48.

MT. SAC RELAYS:  Stan State participated in four events at the Mt. SAC Relays this afternoon in Walnut, Calif.  Trent Lauderdale finished in fourth place with his time of 51.24 in the 400-hurdles.  The men's 4x100 relay team of Eris Hutchins, Jaheim Williams, Jaevin Sawyer, and Trent Lauderdale ran a fifth-place time of 41.58.  Mila Real was 22^nd with her time of 1:02.18 in the 400 hurdles.  Rionna Wallace ran a time of 1:02.18 in the 100-meter dash to finish in 22^nd place.  Finishing 22^nd in the 200-meter dash was Jaevin Sawyer with a time of 21.48.

BRYAN CLAY:  Besides Annie Wild and Crystal Hernandez competing at Bryan Clay today, Stan State had 16 Warriors competing in their respective events.  Reyna Dismukes was 20^th with her jump of 18-1 ½ (5.52m) in the long jump. In the 1500-meter run, Adin Dibble finished in 24^th in the 1500-meter Open C this morning with a time of 3:57.96.  Jackson Oliveira ran a time of 3:54.01 in the 1500-meter Open B to finish in 86^th place.  Dillon Carolina ran a 30^th place time of 15.39 and Timothy Miles had a 33^rd place time in the 16.14 in the 110 hurdles.  Shaylynn Wynn finished in 47^th place with her time of 1:05.94 in the 400 hurdles.  Tessa Vasquez ran a 4:38.64 in the 1500-meter to finish in 136^th place in the field this evening.  Alfred Nunes placed tenth in the pole vault (14-9, 4.50m). Stan State had six throwers competing in the javelin:  Cole Bailey (10th, 157-11), Joshua Shimoda (12th, 150-11), Justice McDermott (15th, 135-2), Chris Ruiz (16th, 132-6), Alfred Nunes (18th, 125-11), and Johnny Venegas (20th, 105-11).
