NEW ORLEANS, La.--- Four student-athletes from the Stan State women's cross country and track & field program have been named USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Academic Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year. Crystal Hernandez, Stevie Holguin, Mila Real, and Annie Wild each received the prestigious honor as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Academic Athlete honor recognizes student-athletes who have excelled both academically and athletically. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 while also meeting one of several athletic criteria, including finishing among the nation's top 50 on the final TFRRS descending-order lists or competing at the NCAA Division II Indoor or Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Hernandez competed in cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field during the 2025-26 academic year. She helped lead Stan State to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships before earning Second Team All-America honors as a member of the Warriors' ninth-place distance medley relay at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Hernandez also was part of the Warriors' USTFCCCA All-West Region distance medley relay, posted season-best times of 2:12.09 in the 800 meters and 4:38.02 in the 1,500 meters during the outdoor season, earned Fall 2025 CCAA Academic Honor Roll recognition, and was named a CSC Academic All-District® selection.

Holguin competed in cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field during the 2025-26 academic year. She helped lead Stan State to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships and qualified for the CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 5,000 meters. Holguin ranked among the NCAA Division II West Region's top performers in the indoor 3,000 meters (10th), indoor 5,000 meters (1st), outdoor 1,500 meters (50th), and outdoor 5,000 meters (37th). She also earned Stan State Department of Athletics Honor Roll recognition during both the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.

Real competed during the 2025-26 indoor track and field season, earning Second Team All-America honors as a member of Stan State's ninth-place distance medley relay at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. She also was part of the Warriors' USTFCCCA All-West Region distance medley relay while setting Stan State indoor school records in the 200 meters (24.90) and 400 meters (55.63) and recording the program's second-fastest 60-meter hurdles time (9.23). Real also earned CSC Academic All-District® honors.

Wild, Stan State's 2025-26 Female Athlete of the Year and a five-time All-American, competed in cross country and indoor track and field during the 2025-26 academic year. She earned cross country All-America honors with a 24th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships and First Team All-America honors in the mile after placing third at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Wild also garnered Second Team All-America recognition as a member of the Warriors' ninth-place distance medley relay, earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors in the mile, 800 meters and distance medley relay, was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, earned Fall 2025 CCAA Academic Honor Roll recognition, was named a CSC Academic All-District® selection, and recently earned CSC Academic All-America® Second Team honors for the second consecutive year.

The four USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Academic Athletes are the latest in a series of academic honors earned by the Stan State women's cross country and track & field program during the 2025-26 academic year. Hernandez, Real and Wild were each named CSC Academic All-District® selections, while Wild also earned CSC Academic All-America® Second Team honors for the second consecutive season. Multiple Warriors also earned CCAA Academic Honor Roll recognition and induction into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.

The USTFCCCA also recognized the Stan State women's track & field program as a USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Academic Team after the Warriors posted a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. The Warriors are coached by Troy Johnson.
