KANSAS CITY, Missouri--- Stanislaus State women's soccer team is ranked fifth in this week's United Soccer Coaches/NCAA Division II West Regional Rankings. The Warriors are one of four teams from the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) that are ranked in the top ten in Sonoma State (third), Chico State (sixth) and Cal State San Bernardino (tenth).
The Warriors are 3-1-2 heading into conference action this weekend. They will open up CCAA play on the road in Southern California. Stanislaus State will face Cal State San Bernardino this Friday, September 23 at 12:30pm in San Bernardino. The Warriors will travel to San Marcos for a 11:30am starting match with Cal State San Marcos on Sunday, September 15.

Gabriel Bolton, finished its non-conference with a 1-1 tie at Cal State East Bay this Saturday. The Warriors' three victories this non-conference season were over Cal State Monterey Bay (2-1), Fresno Pacific (4-2) and Biola (2-0). Their one loss was a 1-0 loss to Hawai'i Hilo on September 10. The Vulcans are currently second in the region and fifteenth in the nation.
Alexis Brewah leads the way for the Warriors with her five goals and three assists for 13 points.
Alexia Estrada has posted a 1.17 goals against average in goal for Stanislaus State with 38 saves and one shutout.
Three of the teams from the West Region are ranked in the top 25 in the nation in Point Loma (No. 6), Hawai'i Hilo (No. 15) and Sonoma State (No. 22).
