The slick fielding shortstop and number three hitter played three seasons for the Warriors. In 1986 Adam led the warriors into post season competition and a fifth place finish at the NCAA Division III World Series. In 1988 Adam was an integral part of the Warrior team which advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series, placing fourth. At the conclusion of his career Adam held numerous Warrior offensive records. Adam was a career leader in runs scored (126), hits (212), doubles (42), total bases, and runs batted in (119). He established a new single season record for batting average by a shortstop with a .383 mark. He also set the record for highest career batting average by a shortstop with a mark of .371. Adam culminated his career by earning NCAA Division III All-American status in 1988. After graduation, Adam signed a professional contract with the San Francisco Giants and, after completion of his career, completed a Master’s Degree at Oregon State University.
