Stanislaus State Athletics

In 1978 and 1979 Ric was a key member for the Warriors National Championship NCAA Division III teams.  In 1978 Ric earned third team NCAA All-American status and was selected first team All Conference.  As a senior, Ric earned first team All Conference honors, earned first team NCAA All American, and placed second individually at the championship tournament.  Additionally, Ric was selected the Far Western Conference Most Valuable Player.  The culmination of his career was his participation in the NCAA Division I golf championship; he is one of four Warriors to have reached this prestigious level.
