Stanislaus State Athletics

Competing before the Warriors participated in Division competition, Gerry averaged 23 points per game and 11.6 rebounds per game over a two-year period.  He was All Tournament at the U.C. Davis Tournament and in the Turlock Jaycee Tournament.  In 1968 he received the Davis Rebound Award and was selected All Opponent Team for Adams State College.  In Colorado, Gerry was named Stanislaus State College Most Valuable Player for two years in a row.  In his two years of competition he led the Warriors to an overall record of 32-17.
