Stanislaus State Athletics

Jose Ramos was a four-year star with the Warrior men’s soccer team from 1988 to 1991. Jose is still the leading scorer in school history with 57 career goals. Jose’s resume includes two all-conference honors, an All-Far West region selection and was being named the Northern California Athletic Conference Athlete of the year as well as being named an NCAA Division III third-team All-American in 1988 after scoring an impressive 26 goals. Jose is currently a 3^rd grade teacher in Hughson and still finds time to coach soccer at Hughson High School. Jose was recently named by Modesto Bee as “Coach of the Year”.
