Kirsten led her team to four consecutive Northern California Athletic Conference championships. In 1989 she was selected NCAA Division III Championships National Player of the Year as the Warriors placed second in the country, and was selected to the Kodak All American Team. She was the Conference Most Valuable Player in 1989 and 1990, All Conference in 1987, 1988, 1989, and 1990, and Conference Academic Athlete in 1989. In 1988, 1989, and 1990 she was selected to the Western Regional All Tournament Team and was awarded the Northern California Athletic conference all Sportsmanship award. Form her sophomore year through senior years she was a team captain and Team Most Valuable Player. At the time of her induction Kirsten still held six school records including career points scored (1161), rebounds in a season (350), and rebound in a career (1172).
