Diljeet Dosanjh Taylor established a legacy in the Stan State distance running program both as a student-athlete from 2000 to 2003 and as a coach from 2007 to 2016.
As a student-athlete, Diljeet was a three-time All-American in outdoor and indoor track from 2000 to 2003. She was a 2002 CCAA Champion in the 1,500-meter run and a five-time All-CCAA winner in the 800 and the 1500-meter races. The 2002 Stan State Female Athlete of the Year finished second in the indoor 800-meter run in 2002.

As a coach, Diljeet coached 16 All-Americans, including the 2014 National Champion Courtney Anderson and runner-up Marina Vorderbruegge in the 1500-meter run when the duo posted a historic run in Allendale, Michigan.
A total of 11 Warriors were CCAA Track Champions in distance events under Diljeet’s guidance. She also coached two consecutive runner-up distance medley relay team finishes at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
In cross country, Diljeet’s women’s team competed in the NCAA Championships in 2013 and her 2012 team finished a program-best fourth at the NCAA West Regionals.
