Kyle Lortelli was one of the best hitters in Stan State baseball program history. In two seasons, from 2008 to 2009, Kyle collected two Stanislaus State career records and five single season records.
 
A two-time All-Region selection, Kyle is in the Stan State record book’s top 10 lists a total of 27 times with 18 marks among single season bests and nine career stats categories.
 
Kyle holds the Warrior record with 26 home runs and 42 doubles in a career. The left-handed swinging slugger is also the single season record holder with 60 games played, 58 starts, 28 doubles, 142 total bases, and a .477 on-base percentage. He is No. 2 in slugging percentage, runs scored, hits and home runs in a season.
 
After his outstanding collegiate career as an outfielder, Kyle was drafted in the 38th round by the San Diego Padres during the 2009 Major League Baseball draft.
