Warrior Athletics Hall of Fame
The 2014 Women’s Soccer Team, coached by current Stanislaus State head coach Gabriel Bolton, enjoyed a truly historic season that saw the Warriors advance to the NCAA National Quarterfinals. Stan State captured the NCAA West Region Championship with a 2-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona in the regional final, before falling in heartbreaking fashion on penalty kicks to then-No. 7 Colorado School of Mines. To this day, it remains the furthest any Stanislaus State team has advanced in the NCAA Division II era. The Warriors finished the season with a 16-4-2 record — a campaign defined by excellence, resilience, and pride in the Warrior jersey.
The 2014 Warriors featured eight All-CCAA honorees: Jordan Moineau (First Team), Maryssa McDuffy (Second Team), Sabrina Williamson (Second Team), and Honorable Mentions Chelsea Lewandowski, Mikayla Clifford, Maryssa McDuffy, Kirsten Coleman, and Nichole Donald. Three Warriors also earned NSCAA All-Region honors: Jade Poon and Karli Nestler were named to the Second Team, while Lauren Thornton was selected to the Third Team. The team’s combination of experience, chemistry, and determination made them one of the most successful squads in program history, and their NCAA West Region title and national quarterfinal appearance remain defining achievements in Stan State Athletics history.
