Joel Stallworth was a three-time All-American in 2007 (in both indoor track and outdoor track and field) and was named the West Region’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Year. In both 2006 and 2007 he won CCAA outdoor track titles in the 200-meter, 400-meter, and was also a part of the winning 4x400-meter relay team.

Stallworth holds Stanislaus outdoor track records in the 200-meter dash (20.80 seconds), 400-meter dash (45.40), as well as the indoor record in the 400-meter run (47.31).

In 2008, Stallworth qualified in the 400-meter race at the IAAF World Championships in Spain, recieving a gold medal for being a member of the winning 4x400-meter relay team.

Stallworth was also on the basketball team from 2004 to 2006. He averaged 11.7 points and 5.7 rebounds a game in 27 starts in 2005-06.
