Stanislaus State Athletics

Kevin McGurty is arguably the best tennis player in the history of CSU Stanislaus.  As a member of the tennis team for four years Kevin qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships each year as a Warrior from 1976-1979. He was the first Warrior athlete to qualify for Championship competition every year of his eligibility.  Kevin also earned the respect and admiration of his teammates as they selected him team captain and the Most Valuable Player in 1978 and 1979.
