Stanislaus State Athletics

Chaunte Mitchell was a two-time national champion in women’s pole vault. She won back-to-back individual titles in 2004 and 2005, as well as earning All-American honors in 2003.

Mitchell was also a two-time CCAA champion in the event with titles won in 2003 and 2005.
 
Mitchell, who was a two-time All-American in indoor track & field, holds the outdoor school record (13-foot, 5 1/4 inches) and shares the school mark in the indoor event (12-foot, 9 1/2 inches).
 
Mitchell was a 2008 graduate of liberal studies.
